My research interests lie in understanding epigenetic gene regulation in mammalian brains. Before joining Harvard, I earned my Ph.D. in Biology under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Ecker at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and UC San Diego. My doctoral research focused on developing single-cell multi-omic technologies and analytical frameworks to decipher the epigenomic diversity of mammalian brains across spatial and temporal dimensions. I received my B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Zhejiang University in China and also completed one year of clinical training at the Zhejiang University School of Medicine before deciding to shift my career path to basic research.
