Amanda Royka is a cognitive scientist interested in the how animals (both human and non-human) understand about the world around them. She received her undergraduate degree in cognitive science from Yale University followed by an MSc in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. Amanda returned to Yale for her PhD in psychology. Her academic work has been published in Nature, Nature Communications, and Cognition.
