Junior Fellow Wendy Valencia-Montoya awarded John Maynard Smith Prize

Current Junior Fellow Wendy Valencia-Montoya was awarded this year's John Maynard Smith Prize, which recognizes an outstanding young evolutionary biologist. Awarded by the European Society for Evolutionary Biology, the prize is named after John Maynard Smith (1920 – 2004), eminent evolutionary biologist, and author of many books on evolution, both for scientists and the general public.
