 

#  Junior Fellow Linda Kinster wins Commonweal Short Fiction Prize

Current Junior Fellow [Linda Kinstler](/people/linda-kinstler "Linda Kinstler") won the third annual Commonweal Prize for Short Fiction for her short story, “Waidmannslust," which is her first published work of short fiction. Linda is also a contributing writer to *The New York Times Magazine* and the author of [*Come to This Court and Cry: How the Holocaust Ends*](https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/linda-kinstler/come-to-this-court-and-cry/9781541702615/?lens=publicaffairs), which was shortlisted for the Wingate Prize for Jewish literature and awarded a Whiting Award for Nonfiction.
