Two former Junior Fellows elected to American Academy of Arts & Sciences

Two former Junior Fellows have been elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences: Isaiah Andrews (2014 - 16) and John L. Jackson, Jr. (1999 - 2002). Andrews, pictured on the left, is currently the Charles E. and Susan T. Harris Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was the recipient of the John Bates Clark Medal in 2021 and a MacArthur Fellowship in 2020. Jackson, an urban anthropologist and filmmaker, is currently serving as the Provost of the University of Pennsylvania as well as the Richard Perry University Professor in the university's Annenberg School for Communication.
