Butterfly species named after former Junior Fellow Andrew Berry
Evolutionary biologist Andrew Berry (JF 1993 - 1996) was honored to have a newly-recognized butterfly species named after him. His namesake butterfly, Euptychia andrewberryi, was collected in the Amazon by pioneering evolutionist Alfred Russel Wallace, but lay forgotten in London's Museum of Natural History for 150 years.
